Product Description

ILMAP manufactures custom stainless steel basket strainers, wedge wire screens for industrial filtration applications. Our basket strainers are designed to retain solid particles and protect downstream equipment, with dimensions, perforation patterns, mesh and construction fully tailored to customer specifications. Suitable for a wide range of industries and operating conditions, each basket strainer is developed according to specific application requirements, flow conditions and filtration performance needs.

The  slot formed by the V-shaped surface wires ensures a two-point contact between the particles and the slot, which minimizes clogging, easy cleaning by mechanical scraping or back flushing.

Strong construction for most applications, the wedge wire screens are self-supporting, ensuring high-precision slot sizes, longer life time and low pressure drop.

Key Features

  • Each filter basket is designed and manufactured based on the technical drawings, dimensions, and operational requirements provided by the customer. ILMAP does not work with fixed sizes: the product is dimensioned based on the application.
  • The standard material is AISI 316L stainless steel, chosen for its resistance to corrosion in aggressive environments, temperatures, and the chemicals typical of industrial and drinking water treatment plants. Special alloys are available upon request.
  • Basket ends possible with welded rings, closing discs, flanges and threads
  • "Slot size" - is selected based on the particle size of the solids to be retained and the flow rates involved. This is all agreed upon with the customer during the quote phase.
